Matthew 6:1-6, 16-18Jesus said to His disciples, “Take care not to perform righteous deeds in order that people may see them; otherwise, you will have no recompense from your heavenly Father. When you give alms, do not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right is doing, so that your almsgiving may be secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.“When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may see them. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.“When you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites. They neglect their appearance, so that they may appear to others to be fasting. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you may not appear to be fasting, except to your Father who is hidden. And your Father who sees what is hidden will repay you.”











Prayer and Fasting

Tsting is a means of abstaining from anything that hinders us from getting closer to God. Nowadays, Christians not only fast from food, but they also fast from social networks, media and even vices.


This generation has so many distractions. There has been a big shift in our lifestyle, being accustomed to easy and instant fulfillment. Everyone is used to fast Internet, instant coffee and high-speed fixes, that we’ve unknowingly moved away from the basics.Fasting refocuses our minds and revives our spirits by going back to the fundamentals of Christian life.  When we rid ourselves of all these distractions, we have more time for meaningful and deep prayer. We think less about our daily routines and more about our spiritual brokenness. Fasting lets the Holy Spirit reveal our true spiritual condition.


Fasting is such a personal experience, that it restores your longing for God. It makes you realize how much you’ve strayed away from your first love. It is not surprising that a lot of biblical characters have fasted in order to draw nearer to God. They do it to appease Him and let God work in them.


here are a lot of misconceptions about fasting. Some think that fasting is such an outmoded way of showing ones devotion to God while others use it as a reason to unfashionably lose weight.

12.  To provide coffin and burying memorial service, provision of vehicles for the dead 
       bodies for Christian families.

13.  To make sure construction and repairs to the graves in residential areas of Christian 
       families and to take are and to provide the land/space from grave yard for Christian 
       families.


14.  To start JMK Zia magazine to the development of inter relationship in between the 
       Christian families.

15.  To arrange the bible education courses, pastors’ course sisters courses for the 
       Christian education and unemployed men women.

Notwithstanding anything started in any objects clause, the association shall obtain such other licenses, permissions, or approvals of the relevant public authorizes as may be required under any relevant statutory regulation and laws for the bring in force, to carry out any particular object.
